Varsity Scout Triathlon

This morning was the Varsity Scout Triathlon at Fiesta Island. We had great representation from the ward with 14 participants: 3 youth and 2 adult individual racers and 3 relay teams.

It started with a brisk swim in the ocean of about 200 yards. This was followed by an 8 mile bike ride (The individual participants had to first wash the beach sand off their feet and put socks and shoes on). Next was a two mile run.

Everyone finished and we overcame some minor equipment challenges. Times are below the photo.

Good times & good lessons

Sins & transgressions weigh you down & tie you up. Shed those bounds with continual repentance and be free and happy. Thanks Brother Vargas for a great lesson Sunday.
