Missionary prep training

The Teachers and Priests participated in missionary preparation simulations. They dressed up in white shirts and ties with badges, received their mission calls and companions, and were given the opportunity to share the gospel with prospective investigators. Some investigators were a little more receptive and ready to be taught.

Triathlon

On April 27th the young men competed in the 27th Annual Varsity Scout Triathlon at Fiesta Island.

Plyometrics

The Young Men had the privilege of having Dan Larsen from the Ward come and teach them about Plyometrics.  The exercises they learned will help them to jump higher, be quicker on their feet, etc.

The boys seemed to enjoy and we all got a good workout.

Rappelling at Dixon Lake

For the March campout the young men went to Dixon Lake and had the opportunity to learn to rappel. Some were a little more scared than others but everyone had a fun time and everyone made it back alive. Many thanks to Bro. Kawick for teaching everyone what to do and helping us stay safe.
